uploaded to youtube so I can put on dsmtuners.com to help troubleshoot my clutch disengagement problem.

  • IIRC this was before I adjusted the pedal. So I guess it wasn't enough. I didn't measure it afterwords. But its all good now. Its good to replace everything though because these 1gs are getting to be all 20 years old now and things are getting busted. I've replaced everything with the clutch system but the pedal assembly because it hasn't broke yet and I hear its a pain to replace.

  • just fyi for anyone watching this, yes this was enough movement and I had to adjust my clutch pedal and my clutch is like an inch off the floor now. Which is perfect. I revved it up in 1st gear with the clutch depressed and the car did not move forward. All good now!

Was this before or after you adjusted your clutch? The amount of slave travel will change depending on the clutch adjustment. Did you happen to measure before or after adjustment?
