Video of single pug mark found in a cow pat in rural North leics near Waltham on the Wolds 31-01-2011 The size of the toes are nearly 4 inches across with a £2 and two £1 coins lines up for scale (these are 3 inchesor 7cm across) No evidnce of any claw marks and the toes are very cat orientated. The rear pad has been lost but was apparantly kidney shaped when found
The site is a long away from any other houses andnear a lake and next to rabbit burrows. No other prints were found in the relatively hard ground conditions. I believe this to be possibly a Puma (mountain lion ) pug mark There are numereous big cats of black leopard and puma like descriptions being seen every day across the uk and since the early 80s in Leics and Rutland.
