Interview With Rhonda Kallman, New Century Brewing

Having spent 20 years growing Sam Adams into the super-brand that it is today, Rhonda Kallman left the brewery to start her own independent label called New Century Brewing. Intrigued by a small fish swimming in a sea of whales, we decided to ask her some questions about why she decided to take such a move, how she is developing her brands (Moonshot and Edison)and even convinces PSFK's Piers Fawkes that drinking caffeinated beer is ok. Especially late night.

The is a horrible video production. Lighting and audio SUCK. It shows you have no consideration for the message when your production quality is so low.

Rhonda is not a craft brewer, but she was extremely instumental in promoting and getting Sam Adams beer into bars. She deserves a lot of respect for what she had done. But the current question is, will I buy Moonshot? No thanks. Good luck Rhonda, you have guts to try and capture lighting in a bottle a second time, but your current line is more like Zima. I will wish you luck, all us craft drinkers owe her a debt of gratitude or all we would have to buy is Miller & A-B now.

Rhonda Kallman does not care about beer. Moonshot is not beer. It is a liquid to get asswholes drunk and make Kallman some cash. Unfortunately for her, only the former is happening.
