  • Nice work! Sadly the link( to the wallpapers) led to a 'holding' page, not the pictures I had been looking forward to :-(

    Oh well, things change - the combination of video and the pictures works very well!

  • @slywlf Oh, thanks for telling. Seems like the site is down X/

    Thanks for the comment! X)

  • Bloody hell. I found this video while taking a break from writing an essay... now there's no way I'm going to be able to write it while daydreaming about what Dr Calgori was hiding from the world...

    I guess I'll have to settle for it being the time travel device on The Ophelia so that my imagination can be put to rest.

  • @yipyipyipi Yes, Dr. Calgori is the one that invented the chrononautilus.

  • The beginning reminds me of Herr Drosselmeyer's Doll.... This song is awesome!! And he has such a nice voice! <3

  • Acording to their backstory, the dr created the h.m.s. Ophelia's time travel device. speaking of which, where can i find more info on said backstory and information outside the songs?

  • @ChaucersKnight And if there's time travel involved, what's to keep Tesla, Theremin, and Poe from being 'in' on it as well? Whoever Dr. Calgori was working for may also have hired the other three.

  • @Ts6451

    Ah, I misremembered the date of Poe's death. derp derp.

    SO...

    Poe = died 1849

    Theremin = 1896-1993

    Tesla = 1856-1943

    Assuming a minimum age of 20 for Theremin's game with a then aging Dr. Calgori, and a minimum age of 20 for Calgori's game with Poe, we can get a birth year around 1829 for the good Dr, and having lived through 1916, we get an age of around 90, not unheard of even in that time.

    Although yes...time travel makes all speculation of Dr. Calgori's age a moot point.

  • @ChaucersKnight : The problem is that Dr. Calgori would have to be old enough to play in the late 1840s(Poe died in 1849) and so probably was born in the 1830s at latest. I do not see it as likely that he would have met Theremin before the late 1920's when he was in Europe and the USA. And that creates a large gap of time.

    Of course, if he used time travel, there is no real problem.

  • @Ts6451

    Tesla alone lived almost 90 years. Of course...he died a complete nutjob. Or so the government would have us believe. The fictional Dr. Calgori could have lived to a mere 40 years and still fulfill the poker requirement. He could not have, however, played against all three at the same time.

  • This is a wonderful song.
