its sung to be a broken record but the record itself is in goos condition for 78rpm

I wonder if anyone from Squeeze heard this before they wrote "If I didn't love you" . Of course, they timed their lyrics to a 33 1/3 RPM skip.

Wow, this is awesome! I would like to hear it without the higher frequencies being rolled off, though.
Better still, I'd really love to get my own copy of this on 78!
There's just nothing like listening to these old recordings, directly from the original 78s!
I've found that when these get professionally transferred to CD, that quite often so much low cut filtering and noise reduction as well as other processing is used, that the very life is sucked right out of the original recording!

sounds like tiny tim at the end

Confused?! The song is arranged that way! They played around the the concept of "a broken record".

I am a bit confused. Is this record actually broken? Or was it sung to make it sound like that? Sorry if its obvious, i am just a bit confused.

Neat record and wonderful sounding machine! What year is the record, about 1932 or 1933?
