@Coltsin06 They toured for like 4 years straight and by the end they felt they had done enough together :/ mega sucks as Im only just finding out about them as a Guitar Player.

Why did Cry of Love break up? Audley is way too good for The Black Crowes.

Agreed - this was in my opinon - the problem with the Crowes at this point. They did not have the 2 guitarist enterplay that is so important, and used Audley basically in only the live setting. He is a superb guitar player. It's Audley who shines the brightest on Live at the Greek for me....

Just to let you know he only played the end solo on Greasy Grass River on Lions. The whole rest of the album was all Rich Robinson on guitar. They really didn't let him do his thing. It was a shame.

Audley Freed is both an extremely talented musician and a special memory from the past. He has always been real and honest to those he cared about. If anyone knows how to contact him please let me know. I would like to share my family with him and my son, Lucas who is 13 and thinks he is awesome!!!
