I have been to Glasgow ,and edinburgh andGlasgow as a city wins hands down anytime ,edinburgh is ok for an away day,Butfar too much tartan tat and in Glasgow the museums and galleries are free and has a subway .

yeh, well parts of it. the worst parts like balornock and springburn have the tallest falts in europe which are filled with junkies, asylum seakers and all sort of poor souls. many of the conditions have been compared to that of the 3rd world. Explains the gangs and knife culture i suppose!

Ive been to Glasgow too, has the poorest neighbourhood in the UK as I recall? Nice city, but not as nice as London (at least in my eyes!)

Busy and polluted.. in the centre, go to Canary Wharf of wimbeldon?? or ANY suburb! :O)
