When we tried to show IRREVERSIBLE in New Zealand, the proverbial hit the fan and the SUNDAY show did a full investigation into the surrounding controversy.

After this aired SPCS accused me of collusion with the broadcaster about doing a secret screening for the unsuspecting public. We ended up in Court in Wellington to watch the case unfold. We arrived with umbrellas, trenchcoats and had a sketch artist lampoon the SPCS.

The Judge dismissed their case, basically saying they were wasting everyones time and the film went ahead and screened.

  • 6:50 shame out

  • if any one find the rape in the film porn they should be in prison.

  • "I really felt like she was being raped"

    No shit Sherlock.

  • Both are great films- Peter Brown & Roger McClay are both incompetant morons.

  • how you spell that: Bens Wav?

  • the apparent contrast in intelligence between the pro ban and the no ban camps seems pretty telling

  • Give Bill a knighthood! Saint Ant!
