the BIG difference between DAoC rvr and WAR rvr is that in DAoC all players wanted to fight and had a constant search for a fight. In WAR players look for PvE orvr fights. They want loot. Running from a fight is happening to often. We left WAR now. 1.3 is a joke. WAR is a joke. AION will kill WAR fast

You could also log out on a char on an opposing realm side and wait for that realm to capture it, then log on with that char and start raping the lowbies. THAT was fun, until you got zerged down.

Played since beta and still do. When the game first got out, Raunmark did not exist, Malmohus didnt exist either, i think Darkness Falls came out abit before SI came, and that it did not exist from the beginning im very sure of. As i stood outside the portal for 2 days, just waiting for it to come :)

wrong it was DF was released later on, not when the game was released.

Yeah I just checked up on this. It was in fact added later, but it was added very early in the game's life.

I don't suppose you could do a comparison for me and others who did not play DAoC. I just want to see the differences and ups and downs of each. Mostly for curiosity sake.

In DAoC you needed to pvp to retake DF. In WAR you need to grind to retake the place. DAoC is all wanting to fight from lvl 1 to 50. WAR is players looking for easy pve keep takes for gear. In DAoC gear is a thing you get. In WAR gear isa goal. Grind for gear to get better gear so you can grind for more gear. 700.000 left WAR alrdy for that reason. I did WAR since closed beta. I left it now for daoc again.Man i am so happy to be able to fight again. WAR is run by addons and bugs
