Well, I don't get it. What is the point of this video? Is it just to show that there are police patrol around Potala Palace? I would think it very normal and necessary. In the end , The Potala Palace is an icon for Tibet culture and needs to be protected, right?

The 6254 monasteries that were the living repositories of over a millennia of higher Tibetan civilisation were destroyed. Their treasures were shipped to China or melted down into bullion or bullets. All the Scriptures were burned.

When is that going to happen?

The name of the video has changed to
Torture in Tibet: A Buddhist Nun Tells Her Story

Undercover in Tibet part 6
has been removed.

My freely life in Tibet (8.53)
has been removed. It was a short version of the outstanding
Dispatches Undercover in Tibet (48 mins, on google video)
which is the best video about Tibet.

My freely life in Tibet (8.53)
has Tibetans talking about
The NangPa La shooting. Beatings. Crazy prisons sentences for trivial things. Land confiscation. Forced resettlement. Torture. Forced sterilisation (without anaesthetic).

Perhaps you should watch
Undercover in Tibet part 6
and get a dose of reality. Your comment is one of the most bizarre I have seen.

I think we all know the 'NINE COMMENTARIES'?
Watch how CCP came in power and tries to do anything to stay in power.
I also recommend the vid; death with a 1000 cuts from sarasterlight. Just type in; death with a 1000 cuts.
It's a very graphic vid and it happened at the time that Mao held a even more tight grip on Tibet than it is today. And today it's still very bad under CCP opression. Imagine how it must have been in that time.
The cruelty was, even towards their own people, very extreme.
Don't believe the hype!

The Chinese government can't tolerate criticism. They rely on falsehood for their survival and censor the truth.
Falsehood must rely on violence, censorship and suppression of truth to survive. Without that it will vanish like darkness faced with light.
When human rights are suppressed, when people are jailed - or worse - for expressing opinions, how dare anyone suggest that we shouldn't shine a light on these atrocities.
I say bring on the (non-violent) protests and boycotts.
