  • @forcefedfreak @razegfx Heve you ever even tried using kettlebells? Apparently not. Due to the ergonomics and design of kbs, a clean, snatch, jerk and swing can be performed much more comfortably and safely, eliminating the danger of a dumbbell cracking your fucking skull during a jerk. There's also an array of juggling exerxises that you couldn't possibly do with any other tool. The KB's shape and design makes this possible. In short: you don't know shit.

  • In Soviet Russia, you do not work out, the out works you!

  • 0:37 she had her hands closed your supposed to have your fingers up and it resting between your thumb and palm so you dont get wrist strain etc

  • @1xxDollyxx1 find a RKC trainer near you. DragonDoor has a search for certified trainers. I strongly suggest you get 1-2 sessions minimum in before attempting a kettle bell swing. Proper form is everything, without it injury is assured. If your trainer determines you're ready for the KB on day one, then you will use it. Then go frm there as you need it

  • I've been in the gym over 20 years, Im 40 now and when I first gave the bells a shot I was a skeptic. I didnt see the diff between these and a simple dumbbell. WELL, the difference is balance and all the muscles you didn't know you had working to make the movements. My strength jumped in an order of magnitude I didn't think possible and it was functional strength WITH endurance. worth-every-penny.

  • notice they are all weak hippies

  • @ 0.52 can you imagine how much money is sitting there..kettlebells are rediculously expensive.

  • Its amazing how after all these years the RKC still teaches or endorses or whatever, the very middle of the bell to lay across the forearm in the overhead position. Watching that poor policeman move that huge bell overhead with his hand right in the middle of the handle - OUCH! Serious risk for injury. Your forearm goes between the bell and the vertical arm of the handle and your hand is near the joint, the way the AKC and the Cincinnati Kettlebell Club teach it. Thumbs if you agree.

  • @xbob1980 You can get kettlebells with which you can change the weight; but that is not what I meant.

Just by changing the way you move the KB you can emphasise cardio, or strength, or stability or combine all 3. Moving KBs is about developing functional real world application stength in a way I did not get with DBs.

It's up to you, but you might want to check out a book called "Enter the Kettlebell" available on Amazon and get a 16 or 20kg "Russian" KB. You won't regret it.

  • @got2hurt The DBs that I own are more versatile. You can alter the weight for a start. That alone makes them more versatile.
