25. You can only blame your problems on my world for so long

The buzzing of the airport crowd was all around me. I was trying to stay calm. It was proving to be a lot more difficult than I expected it to be. Id felt relatively calm but every since we got here and saw that the flight had been delayed Lauren had been getting more anxious by the second. The nerves seemed to be radiating off of her. Every few seconds a new wave of excitement ran through me. It was probably just my own emotions combined with Laurens. Shed been bouncing up and down in her chair next to me for the past half hour, probably willing the time to go faster. Naturally, it was pointless. Denise seemed perfectly relaxed. She was sitting on Laurens other side reading a magazine.
-Mom. Im thirsty. Frankie complained. I didnt blame him. Wed been waiting for over an hour. I could use a drink myself.
-Just wait a little longer honey. The plane will land in 10 minutes.
-Actually I could take him. I need a drink myself.
-Yay! Frankie yelled and he jumped up grabbing my sleeve and trying to pull me up.
-I might change my mind if you ruin my sweater.
He stopped pulling immediately and smiled innocently. It was adorable.
We walked over to the vending machines.
-So what do you want?
-Coke.
-Okay.
I got him a coke and ice tea for myself. The non bubbly kind. I felt the nerves building in my stomach. When we got back Lauren was standing cross-armed tapping her foot impatiently.
-They landed. Was all she said.
I was trying to see over the heads but I didnt see the familiar curls or Joes wavy hair. Then I saw a flick of blond hair and I noticed Jane waving at me trying to break through the crowd. She finally did and ran towards us to hug me.
-How have you been? Ive missed you so much. I blurted out.
-Good but Ive missed you too. You have no idea how it was without you there and it was even worse when Joe left. But how are you now that you made it big time.
-It looks more glamorous than it is but its awesome.
Then the boys and Mr Jonas finally reached us. It was easier for a young girl to get through a crowd than it was for a bunch of guys towing suitcases. Lauren ran towards Kevin and he dropped his suitcases to wrap his arms around her.
Then I looked at Nick and he was smiling. I took a few steps towards him and kissed his cheek.
-I missed you. I said.
-I missed you too.
We didnt say much more. We all helped carry the suitcases to the cars. Kevin and Nick were going to drive with me and Lauren in her car. Before I got in I walked over to Jane.
-Do you have any plans today?
-Nope.
-Could you come over to my room later then. Its number 213.
-I thought youd want to spend time with Nick.
-I do. But this is important. Besides its been longer since I got to spend time with you.
-Ill be there.
-Kay. See you later.
She got in and I walked back to Laurens car. I sat down next to Nick in the backseat. He grabbed my hand as soon as I sat down. I turned to smile at him. We didnt talk much during the ride. We didnt get much farther than asking each other how they were. It wasnt a long ride to the hotel. I helped Nick carry his suitcases upstairs. He was sharing a room with the Joe. Kevin had asked Nick to be his best man but Joe wasnt upset about it.
-Its only fair. Nick said when I asked him about it.
-Fair?
-We made a deal.
-Are you going to tell me what that deal is?
-Maybe. Someday.
-Someday? I pouted.
-You look adorable when you do that. Nick said and he kissed me.
-I have to go.
-Now? Is there something more important than me?
-Not more important. But it is important.
-Cant it wait?
-Since the wedding is in two days, no it cant.
-Will I see you tonight then?
-Of course. Come by my room at 7.
-Seven? Nick said.
-That does sound awfully long. Make that six. Im in room 213.

It's about time (AN: lol :D) I finished this. So after the wedding it's done. I think I've spend to much time on Ellie. I'm going to start a new story. I don't know if there will be another sequel. I guss that depends on how many ppl want one :D
