@justincgs I have an SCB-55 as well, hooked up to a Roland MPU-401/AT. Too bad I don't have machines with ISA slots any longer. :\

I have one of those!!! On a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz! It was the last modern soundcard to have an internal MIDI daughterboard connector.
I payed like $550 bucks for a SCB-55 back in the day simply for Doom MIDI...
DOOM MIDI is simply BRILLIANT in terms of composition et al. Really classic and epic

Would you like to post this video as response to my or to another one?

At least with a hardware sound canvas unit you don't need a computer to just play with it and you don't have to worry about it being unsupported on future operating systems.

Force Commander was almost entirely Imperial based.

That sounds amazing! good thing I didn't know about the SCB-55 when I was a kid and playing Tie-Fighter....I never knew what I was missing. Ignorance, bliss, and a soundblaster pro.

Thats Right And Lately More Star Wars Games Focus On the Foundation Of The Rebel Alliance ,But Still You Know Theres Bound To Be Troopers On The Empires Side That Would Make Them As Fierce As Old Man Kenobi And Lando Described Them To Be In The Movies
... If Only Lucas Arts Would Make More Imperial Based Games... Im Tired Of Playing With The Rebels Im More Into Seeying What More the Empire Had In their Ranks.

Good old days, where video games and MIDI music were actualy epic...
I wish those times back.
