@250quadzilla Sure. An expensive scanner though. The tech ham license is very easy. The study book is only a quarter of inch thick and you will have a reason to have the radio in your car. You should try to get your license.

@vk3crg Seemed louder in the video. Never noticed when talking on it. It does have fan speed settings in the menu. I keep it on auto.

i am considering buying an ICOM IC-2820.

Now you have owned the IC-2820 for some time can you tell me
how do you find it are there any problems you have come across

@1SoundBlaster I love it still. The only thing I would change is, make it able to plug in the data cable for DRats without having to remove the control head.
