Marilyn Carey's rant @ Muncie IN School Board mtg 1-8-08

Folks, don't cha think her time has come and gone? She needs to GO!

We need some NEW BLOOD in our School Board, this old school stuff has to GO! Do you rreally think this lady has any idea what our children are going to face? Do you think SHE has her finger on the pulse of modern technology?

She talks about brick color not matching and "pretty" carpet and floors? What about new curriculum that will bring our kids into the 21st century using the latest tools that are available?

Why do we need school so many buildings for a declining population anyway? Why not use computers and "webcasts" and let many of the kids stay home and participate if they have a stay home parent to help supervise?

We could consolidate schools and BUY the stay home kids computers and let the State fund internet access and save tons of money!

Now I'm sure she's a nice lady, but her better years are WAY behind her, don't whine to us how hard it is, NOBODY is making you run!

If it's that hard, then just retire for crying out loud and let some fresh idea's help our children into the future!

She pushed me down in Muncie Central High school in 1988 after tracking me down for an over-due library book. Then she called security on me and said I threatened her. Trust me..she has always been crazy!

She needs to be on a lock up facility in a secured environment for elderely people. She's nuts and needs to go to a group home immediately,
