WHOA! I've been looking for this short for years!
I saw it as a kid - it was on a compilation called "Award-Winning American Animation 1980-85". For months it had me scared out of my mind. It was so bad that even in broad daylight I'd get the creeps.
Doesn't have that effect on me now, fortunately, but wow - what an intriguingly disturbing film!
