Why do you, as a theist, take this statement to be a personal attack? This video addresses the issue of bridging the gap between a philosophical conclusion based on perceived evidence and an attack of a personal nature.

Also, I am introducing a new series of upcoming videos called, "Why Didn't YOUR God Think Of That?" Check it out...

  • Thankyou for your honesty, I do love history & although the

bible is supposed to be such a book, My mother sent me

a book called "The bible fraud & The crucifixion of Truth,

both books are by Tony Bushby, I don't know if you're

familiar with these publications, They uncover christ's

life supposedly only on the evidence that still exists in archives

from the middle east & Rome, e.g. that christ's was one

of twins & that his father was Tiberious a roman soldier, all

    refs are in this book

  • @TheGodlist Yes, I've read similar books, but not that one in particular. To say we know 'very little' about that time is a massive understatement. There are no autographs, no eye witness accounts, nothing at all to support the Jesus story. He probably existed as a rogue prophet, but there's way too much 'evidential' proof that the Biblical account is a lie. Nazareth wasn't even a town until well after his birth, and Josephus fails to record zombies walking the earth post-crucifixion...

  • @rationalmuscle I truly believe that christ's message to the world

was one of truth & the rabble of the day just couldn't grasp the

truth & according to these books by Tony Bushby , theres were no

mention of christ in any historical context from his birth 'till

400AD, when the bible was born from the clergy & his word or

truth was distorted to suit the times. I heard that in the front feet of

the sphynx, information will be found & expose the bible or

complete it if you like, very soon

  • @TheGodlist Well, we have 'no idea' what his message really was, as he wrote nothing himself, nor were any of the gospels composed by eyewitnesses. The apostle's names were tagged on by the Church some 300 years post-facto.

As for "what I believe" -- have a look at Dr. Krauss' excellent video on cosmology and physics. He's a theoretical physicist and cosmologist -- and THIS is what I 'believe' to a "T": vimeo [dot] com/31056022

  • irrationality makes more sense. But who knows, maybe Im a glutton for perpetual punishment.

  • I had something very embarrassing happen to me today. Today is Ash Wed and I wanted to impress God with "self-discipline", a character I lack. I cursed God and all his Holiness for allowing me to suffer an embarrassment today turning Ash Wed into "I hate God and am now an atheist." Especially since I and my family suffered so much and prayers have been ignored. However, I keep coming back to believe because it truly is mysteriously innate. Until we can accurately rationalize how it all begin...

  • Many people steal and are forgivin stealing is a sin being gay may be a sin but if you've stolen something youre no worse than being gay and being gay isn't bad so now the whole system is messed up. Don't judge people it's wrong being gay isn't bad judging is wrong. American idol can still judge, singing doesn't count. Man, I hate American idol.

  • call it what you want, no one's "heavenly" father matched my earthly one-Dad accepted me and loved me as a gay man- something no "christian" seems to able to do

  • i do not wish this to be taken as an all out attack, but i have a problem with the it's nothing personal bit. as christains we believe God to be the father, you are not attacking us directly but your attacking us the same way a bully attacks another kids family. im not saying your a bully, it saying your methods just seem the same to me.

  • @rationalmuscle Bravo, just seen Lawrence Krauss: Cosmic Connections

how exciting it is for physics & cosmology & the new discoveries they are for

ever finding, Bashar in his sprititual teachings almost reveal the same

theories as well as Neale Donald Walsh's Conversations with god. I like how

he added that the Sun was aware of itself as iron & the fact we breath the same

air as Ceaser & etc.also everything is composed of the same atoms & molecules

All that is is one, this is divine
