@jkurtzman1 Yes, that is correct. In total, there are 12 input channels (4 mono, 4 stereo (4 left, 4 right). So, it's a pretty versatile mixer. If you need more channels than this, they do make those. They also make some having fewer. All depends on your particular need.

@Ookarl01 You could technically have 8 mono channels because on stereo channels when a cable is connected to the left input only it becomes mono.

@Ookarl01 This mixer will accept upto 4 mono mics. It will also accept upto 4 stereo audio inputs. Behringer makes other models that have even more inputs.

So how many drum microphones could i plug into this?

@notfauxnoox as long as you know :) maybe i've got the problem..., twas good anyway

@c3ndhol Thanks for telling us about your experience. I think this mixer can benefit a number of different uses from podcasting, audiomxing and overdubbing for videos, musical instrument integration (as you are doing), and many others.
can you use this with fl studio or cubase?

@kyl3GEE I haven't tried it personnally, but I can see no reason it would not work with any audio editting software.

I just ordered that same audio interface but I was wondering does Audacity work with it or will I have to use a different editing software???

@LostTheTrain Audacity should work fine with it since Audacity only cares about where it should listen to get audio input.. In my example, I'm using Audacity to record a clip of music from my iPhone. In my case,I have the mixer hooked up to the PC via the USB UCA222 rather than to the inputs of the soundcard of the PC. I had to config Audacity to listen to the USB port. If you connect it to your PC soundcard input, just make sure you have Audacity configured to listen to it.
