*Winner of The Best Live Action Trailer in TheAMVAlliance's 2011 Trailer Contest*
A FinalCut project for College. A good movie that I decided to make because I don't think it has the spotlight that it deserves. I own absolutely nothing. Rollerball is owned by MGM Studios and United Artists. I also don't own the music. Here are the credits (In order):

Blue John Canyon - A.R. Rahman (from the 127 Hours soundtrack)
Akkadian Empire (No Choir) - Audiomachine (I really like this track)
Molossus - Hans Zimmer (from the Batman Begins soundtrack)
Unstoppable - E.S. Posthumus
1000 Ships of the Underworld (Priest Version) - Two Steps from Hell

Once again I don't own a thing. Oh yeah, enjoy!

  • Nice clean video quality. Good editing. The music-good and appropriate.- However it would have been iconic if at the end of the trailer you included the Bach's Tocatta to " seal the deal".

    Aside from that, nice work.

  • @MrGeeMan1980 Fuck! I should have done that.

  • I THINK ONE MUST USE BACH'S T/F AS THE MUSIC IN A ROLLERBALL TRAILER.

  • @INFAMOUSEVENUP Yeah, my bad.

  • Nice job technically. Thematically it is boring and the same as every other trailer that has come out in the last ten years. It gives away every major plot point of the film and leaves nothing to the imagination. I love this film; based on this trailer, I would not go see it.

Try something original instead of the staid "In a world...One man...blah blah blah" style. It has become a cliche that inspires nothing but derision. You are obviously capable of much better than this.

  • @EdwardTMartinShow I appreciate your honesty.

  • Great job! I really wish it was coming in IMAX though!

  • Fantastic job!! This just got added to my playlist! Thanks!

  • Just goes to show how generic and alike all modern movie trailers are.... gee. dramatic WHUMPH with dialogue playing over, techno drum beat, fast-paced montage of violence with foreign language chorus singing. Every trailer of the 2000s. nice creative job doing it with an old film which was much slower than you made it out to be. lol

  • As a fan of the film I can say it was a pleaure to watch this fan trailer.
