"Who Am I To Say" by Hope - A Perception

Well...I'm not sure what to say about this. I was kind of depressed, so to speak, and this song happened to be playing on my IPod - so I decided to make a slideshow to it. It's a beautiful, somewhat heartbreaking song.

This is my perception of the song and what the lyrics mean. To me, it seems that the girl is in love with someone, and that person is in love with her as well, but she keeps expecting him to break her heart. She's constantly asking herself if he truly loves her and if he truly needs her like he says; she goes through emotional spasms and imagines scenarios where the guy breaks her heart/is cheating on her. It upsets her to think that, yes, he'll probably break her heart eventually, but she's slowly building up strength so that, when the day comes that he does break her heart, she'll be able to let him go. Perhaps she believes that letting him go is the best thing; maybe she thinks that she doesn't deserve him and that he doesn't deserve to be stuck with her. I'm not sure...

That's just what I think of when I hear this song. I tried my best to find pictures that portrayed what the lyrics were saying and what I thought they meant. It's kind of funny how some of those dancing pictures ended up in there...I was in a haze, somewhat, when I put together the slideshow.
