  • Great old carol, and a good vocal performance of it here, despite the singer leaving out the second stanza for some reason ("Qui vient la, frappant de la porte?..."). I was especially struck by comparing to the written lyrics for this song on Wikipedia. Do the french always discard the last 1 or 2 letters of every word before pronouncing it? It would seem so. "Un" becomes "uh", "est" becomes "eh", etc. French is a strange language. (Not as strange as English, but still strange.)

  • This song is soooooo much better in its native French.

  • WONDERFUL! Thanks for offering your exquisite traditional rendition of this charming French spiritual.

  • beatiful! amazing! thanks

  • Very nice! Love the song!

  • Your voice is beautiful as well as the arrangement!!

  • I like Joy Williams's better.

  • Lovely, lovely, Thank you.
