Ugh, ALL eating disorders are so generally misunderstood. Anorexics don't get sympathy, they get ridiculed too. I can't tell you how many times in my life people told me to "just eat, okay, stop being ridiculous." As if I could just stop!
-
@jacksolomon73 Thank you for saying that because if i hear 'just stop eating then' one more time i'ma kill someone!
-
@LaMuerteAmarilla yeah! im a male binger :(
-
what people seem to not talk about is alot of anorexics become bulimic, then progress to bingers ad over eaters.. why is this connection not talked about?
-
@jacksolomon73 That is SO fucking true, I can't even tell the difference between full and hungry, this is taking over my damn life.
-
the sad thing is i used to use bulimia to try to cure binge eating

@LaMuerteAmarilla I am too man. I am real big binge eater. It´s weird because you know it´s bad and sometimes you dont wanna do it and days may go by without it (when you are trying to quit) and then when you realize you are binge eating again and sometimes even bigger. It is really terrible and overlooked in men. I am correctly trying real hard to stop it and havent done it in over a month (but I´m also trying to change my lifestyle overall). I have lost over 20 pounds. I hope not to fall

the look on the womans face when she said 3 months was price less it was like "i have been dealing w/h this all my life and i only have 3 months wtf ? "

Hey @LaMuerteAmarilla,
One in four individuals with Binge eating disorder (BED) are male. I hope you are getting the support you need.

"I think they are going to help so many women and girls." What about all the men with this disorder? I am one of them, and there are more than you think! We want support too!
