Computer is a 2006 Dell Inspiron 1521 laptop 1.8GHz . Specs are the following AMD (Athlon) 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor TK-55
797MHz, 896 MB of RAM

if you're taking Gigahertz, mine's 1.79GHz Dell Inspiron 1521, and still performs fine.
You have to take into account ANY Mario Hack with A LOT of sprites on one screen WILL cause LAG, even if you have the latest 3.0GHz.

set your camtasia recording region to match the player to record in full screen. To play in full screen you maximize it just like an internet page

i have one specific problem when i record using a mic, I can only hear myself talking and not the music in the video, is there anyway to fix that?

try setting to record from speakers rather than just the mic
