By Scott Joplin. Arranged for clarinet quartet by David Schorr of the clarinet institute.

Sheet music here: http://www.clarinetinstitute.com/Pdf%20files/Quartets/[Clarinet_Institute]%20Joplin%20Strenuous%20Life%20Cl%204.pdf

From left to right: bass clarinet, 3rd, 2nd, 1st clarinet.

Self-criticism:
The first clarinet (on the far right) had timing issues, so I actually had to cheat and add a delay to one passage where she was rushing...
My tone on high notes could be better as well...

  • 4 parts. That's dead easy. You could do that riding horses at full gallop or even underwater. Come to think of it, why didn't you?

  • @DearOldNutjob Thought I'd take it easy this weekend. Watch out for my next project - an orchestra with full string and brass sections, as well as a choir and stadium-size audience. Oh yeah, and it will be underwater, on the moon. What, no water on the moon you say? Nothing is impossible, when Chuck Norris is the special guest conductor.

  • What software did you use?

  • This was soo nice...

  • Nicely done! I suspect first clarinet players are like banjo players, always trying to run away with the tempo.

  • Scott Joplin is awesome (Y) And I love clarinets.

  • This one has been the first song I've listened today, and it's been an excellent choice!

Brilliant Scott Joplin, and a great performance Carmen!

  • This is awesome! I love Scott Joplin, and he's even better on clarinet!

And I think your high notes are quite good! They're always a pain for me, though, haha.

  • As always amazing. :)
