My first MS 150 - something I had wanted to do or years. The bike ride is 75 miles, from the "City" - across the river from Philadelphia near Haddonfield - to the Shore - Ocean City, New Jersey. Stay over in the resort town of Ocean City, then wake up early Sunday morning and bike back to Haddonfield - another 75 miles. The purpose - to raise money for research into Multiple Sclerosis. The first 130 miles or so - a lot of fun - lots of rest stops, food stops, music, riding with old friends and new friends. The last 20 miles - pretty much pure misery ... just pushing on and hoping it would end soon! But a great sense of accomplishment, to finish the ride, and to raise more than $4,000 for MS research. So why not celebrate in song ...
