If it was rear engine like a Porsche 911, I would definately buy one now. Sorry Volkswagan, you did it again. Put time into redesign to look like the original, but forgot that very important part of the original engineering by putting the quality of handling back into the rear wheels. By doing that, it would attract more males towards the market of owning one and it would be the once again the poor mans Porsche. Maybee your next generation of Beetles will have the engine back where it should be.
