Cityscape

The Libertyville High School Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Mr. Helvie and Mr. Daeschler, performs at University of Illinois's Krannert Center for the performing arts for the 2011 IL Superstate Band Festival, 5/7/11. Competing in the largest class (AAA), the Libertyville band won first place, and will receive the title of 'Honor Band' at next year's festival. One of the pieces they performing is Scott Boerma's Cityscape, which was composed specifically for the hall at the Krannert Center (the other piece being Don Juan).
