Blame whoever you want, but the record shows that the current economic meltdown began on Bush's watch. Indeed, the economic record of Bush's entire 8 year term was pretty dismal. Compare this to the Clinton years -- the longest economic expansion in US history and one of the best decades for the stock market. Was this just coincidence, or was something else going on?
