@DanYHKim2 because they're fluffy. Plus it is a multi-purpose animal; they say in Wales that it is only a sheep that can give you a wicked jumper, great stew and a good shag LOL

I believe Krugman used this video in his Christmas blog - I suppose as a comment on the absurdity and loss in rampant individualism and economic rationalism (sorry haven't read the blog). And the ironic loveliness that this idea is embedded so much in the Christian culture - which often lies so neatly behind calls for economic rationalism.
I thought of Julian Jaynes' comment on psalms like these as an expression of our longing for the time when we at one.

When I was young I always thought they were saying 'For we like sheep'...like they were all singing just because you know, sheep are cool, we like sheep. Now when I hear it I burst into inappropriate laughter ;)!
