In an attempt to reproduce the same results Joe Newman claims he achieved, I built a large Newman motor thinking I could get more energy output than input. It never worked as I had hoped, but it was a fun learning some of the laws of physics using a hands on approach.

  • That looks like a fuelless engine without the capacitor. Looks like you would get a huge voltage spike off that coil after half rotation. I built a fueless engine with one commutator for half rotation then the capacitor captures the spike and feeds it back in opposite polarity. It makes a high efficiency motor, though not quite fuelless, lol.

  • there are many versions of the newman motor...before the wright brothers plane flew...there was many versions of flying machines...

  • kdaveem, your a great speaker and you look like nicola tesla...the newman motor gen can work if timed properly...and hooked to earth ground...its rather simple...everything works...

  • Besides from all other arguments. Joe never build a motor with a vertical axle.

  • i think your right

  • very interesting! that sucks it didnt turn out as planned. keep on postin cool videos, your subscribers miss ya!!
