ATN Tacker has no connection at all to the makers of The TOPCLIMBER®, which is designed and constructed in The Netherlands by TOPCLIMBER® International. ATN sell cheap imitations of the original TOPCLIMBER® product.
irresponsible posting of comments.... The TOPCLIMBER® if a perfectly safe device for use by a solo sailor without additional assistance. If a user considers their halyard or static line is potentially unsafe then do not use the halyard or static line with the device. Use a safety line as well if you wish. Use of a safety line is at the discretion of the user and if a second pair of hands were available to assist, all the better. It is always prudent to do so aloft if assistance is available.
The TOPCLIMBER® rises on the users own static line, which is tautly placed between a deck point and a mast head, in the video the static line is hauled up to the mast head via the main halyard, the foot of the line it attached to an outside stantion leg to aid clearance of the mast and rigging.
Sorry , but did I just see this guy run the block taking his weight via a stantion foot ?? Should I assume that the stantion foot in use is anchored in the same way as a strong point? Haven't seen rest of video yet ... will do so now ...

irresponsible advertising ... Where is the safety line? Otherwise it looks like a great piece of kit. Will probably buy.
Can the ATN Tacker choice size ( A , B and C ) not be advertised using Sail Area rather than Boat Length?
