First ever startup and flight of my new Miniature Aircraft Spectra-G gasser. No tuning of the carb. needles yet, so it sounds a bit wonky. This is a test to check the basic setup of the heli... Some specs:

Extreme head w/ Stratus flybarcarrier, Zenoah G231, Century V4 muffler, GCT Ultra 710mm wide chords (same as Mavrikk G5 w.c.), Jewel onboard generator, Futaba 2,4 GHz , 3x bls253, GY611 w/ bls251, MAH 105mm tailblades, 6 kg without gas, rotordisc is 1580mm.

  • @leviterande Thank you. Well, it depends on what muffler you use, of course, but it is comparable with nitro. The gas engine runs at somewhat lower rpm's, so the exhastnote is different, maybe a bit lazier, but in terms of noise I'd say it's about the same as a 90 size nitro. With this muffler anyway...

  • very interesting mate, how loud is it and noise compared to nitros
