  • There are many ways of doing me, but this guy puts himself within the rich of nage's left arm. That's a no-no for a blackbelt.

Oh and the uke should deliver an attack. That's the whole point of being the uke. There's no attack in the video, what is he trying to do, correct nage's hair ?

  • Armchair experts...how quaint.

  • Too much beer, i think!

  • @shihonage So true LOL, I thought Aikido was about stepping OUT of the line of attack not TWISTING yourself out and risking that instant of a possible attempt of an attack.

  • @969Username He's doing it slowly for you to see the technique. If he did the move in a half-second, you wouldn't be able to react as you would try focused on yourself falling.

  • I dont get it.

Why doesn't the other guy use his left arm?

I mean.. wouldn't it be a natural reaction to hit the instructor in the face if he grabs one of your arms?

  • How many times does he say 'technique' at the start?

  • @scottith1 well yeah it would be pretty difficult to do that in a real fight, but if somebody gives u a jab and u grab it if u do it quick enough U just "Might" be able to pull it off, lol xD

  • do disrespect... but LMAO. i would like to see him do that in a real fight. Popcorn at the ready

  • this is for begginers, not a demonstration,

anyways it would be helpful if you could make a longer clip and put more details, does Sensei Ronald slide his hands to his opponents wrist?

  • Ok, it's not really good but I think his movements are not as bad as most of you say.
