The Beer Garden at the far east end of Chicago's Navy Pier is the city's best kept secret for music fans. If you visit Chicago, you must come here if you are a music fan. There is a wide variety of bands--2 to 3 every night and all day on the weekends. The music is always free. There is a free fireworks show every Wednesday and Saturday. There is ample room to dance in front of the stage. Food choices include burgers, pizza, Italian beef. Picnic tables and the small cocktail tables are abundant.
And of course, there is always plenty of that great Mexican beer: Corona!-- that is served with a twist of lime. Ahhh...so good! Yes, Corona is the best Beer in the entire Universe and you can tell them Poledancefan says so!
Thanks to all my favorite Navy Pier servers. You guys are all fantastic. Hope you earn a mint in tips!!

Yeah, it is pretty windy by the lake front. If it's 80 in Forest Park (nine miles out), it'll be 70 on the lake. I usually take one of those polar tech poncho things--its a jacket you can roll up in a tiny pouch and it's pretty warm if temp drops.
