  • love the captian nice set of pecs on him !

  • how old is this performence- its so fun-lol

  • @Daveh01 Stop confusing me with logic.

  • A question: How old is Buttercup supposed to be. According to the script, she was Captain Corcorran and Ralph Racstraw's nursemaid. The Cap has a child of his own, and if we assume Josephine is at least 16/17, then we have to accept that Ralph is as old as Captain Corcorran since they were swapped by accident at birth. I think Buttercup must be at least 20 years older than the Cap!

  • @leeinvegas

  • who is the man ?

  • Could someone please make a playlist of these Essgee´s Pinfore ?

  • Pretty decent version, though as others has stated, Rima Te Wiata played the role of Little Buttercup much beter and seemed more natural.

  • This is such fun. Thanks for posting it.

  • I have to agree that Rima Te Wiata's playing of Buttercup was stronger. She played it with a strong cockney accent and as a young common girl, which fitted the character. She also played it mainly to the audience as thought it was a pantomime. Her interpretation lent itself to playfulness in this duet. All said, this is an earlier interpretation though and is still quite splendid in its delivery.
