A question: How old is Buttercup supposed to be. According to the script, she was Captain Corcorran and Ralph Racstraw's nursemaid. The Cap has a child of his own, and if we assume Josephine is at least 16/17, then we have to accept that Ralph is as old as Captain Corcorran since they were swapped by accident at birth. I think Buttercup must be at least 20 years older than the Cap!
I have to agree that Rima Te Wiata's playing of Buttercup was stronger. She played it with a strong cockney accent and as a young common girl, which fitted the character. She also played it mainly to the audience as thought it was a pantomime. Her interpretation lent itself to playfulness in this duet. All said, this is an earlier interpretation though and is still quite splendid in its delivery.

Pretty decent version, though as others has stated, Rima Te Wiata played the role of Little Buttercup much beter and seemed more natural.
