@sampa4milan i was responding someone talking solely on Manobendra on the comments and saying something like Manobendra'a song.

The fact remains, One can not compare Rabindranath with a Rabindrasangeet artist. the reason is Rabindranath's greatness. same goes for Nazrul and Manobendra. There are many Nazrul singers, but only one Nazrul.

There is no intention to compare Najrul & Manabendra. Najrul is Najrul in his world of lyrics creation - only one in this universe. Manabendra is Manabendra in his world of tune - only one in this universe. They must not be compared. As - Rose is beautiful and baby is beautiful. If it is asked which is better - rose or child? Is there any answer? My comment was on this. If it is told that credit goes to Najrul and not on Manabendra - how it may be? Both are best but in their own field.

Manabendra was a legend but that does not mean to a listener there wouldn't be a better or more favourite singer to listen to when it comes to Nazrulgeeti. whoever the singer is, the fact remains that this piece of art is from Nazrul. There were comments preceding mine that were praising Manabendra in such way that it seemed all the credit for this song is his.

There is a comment that Najrul Islam's credit is more than the singer. No doubt the We shall not get any 2nd Najrul, he is only one in this world / universe but Manabendra is also only one in this world / universe. We must not forget this.
