This is an excellent teaching by Lama Zopa Rinpoche on how to meditate on the "I" by recognizing "I" is merely labeled upon what the body is doing. When the body is sitting we say "I am sitting", when the body is walking we say "I am walking". The moment we break the belief in the I as the body we will see that the I really doesn't exist at all from its own side and how we apprehend this real I will change, become weaker. We will see the change in our view and and in our life by meditating like this until ultimately we realize this I that we have held so strongly since beginning less rebirth is totally empty! Rinpoche explains how having such a strong experience of emptiness depends on strong guru devotion. This is the experience of the meditator, the inner scientist!.
