  • I hope she wins!

  • I'm surprised she didn't have her own chips or candy in a private stash.

  • Everyone who is saying that she faking it or chips aren't a good choice shut the fuck up and read about it what she did was save her life. Chips are high in CARBS which raises the blood sugar. I know this i have been a diabetic for three years. So ill say again learn about before saying she was faking or something.

  • @xStockxLossx Idiot youve never had one when it happens you you know you dont fake that at all. i have been one for three years i know hat im talking about.

  • @Snakepliskinist First off carbs are the single that helps the most. A bag of chips can save a diabetics life trust me i know i have been one for three years. Not only that when your sugars are low you dont give a fuck you know what you need. If she was strong enough she should have grabed a soda. Like i said though you dont care if thats whats in reach thats what you chose. Like i said i have been one for three years i have massive low and highs she did what she needed too.

  • As much I like to side against corporations and zero tolerance rules in general, here's the thing: When a diabetic has low blood sugar, they need something sugary. Ideally they should get a snack with sugar alongside a complex carbohydrate and a small amount of protein. Potato chips are complex carbohydrates and fat. Assuming (as a diabetic) that she is informed of this, her choice doesn't reflect the medical crisis she purports. She would have chosen something sugary.

  • I'm diabetic and have never taken a bag of chips without paying for them even when I experiencing low blood sugar. I would have still fired her.

  • @grendelroy and if she had died on your watch what then?

  • Since when do chips have sugar in them?

  • would have fired her .. anyone can "have a diabetic attack" and have free chips

  • As a manager and a diabetic at Walgreens I would have fired her too.

  • it isnt even stealing until you leave the store anyway
