Even during the holidays, Japan works fast.
Lillian just released an updated final trial version for PSS. You can get it here:
http://www.lillian.jp/kurukuru2/taiken.html
Among other things, it adds this fourth battle, against none other than Lillian-sensei of Princess Witches.
This battle is quite a doozy. For whatever reason, your party is RANDOMIZED for this fight. Your five characters can be any one of the main five Crusaders or Witches, but other potential candidates are maou Shin, awakened Nanaka, Azel, Merilot, or a random Mazoku. I guess the player here got lucky (or abused saves) and got all of the Crusaders, with maou Shin and awakened Nanaka.
While maou Shin, Azel, and Merilot remain unchanged from Starlit Brave (as in, they're still pretty much as broken as they were before), awakened Nanaka has gotten a brand-spanking new title, Phoenix Slayer (misspelled in the loading screen, I know), and some devastating new attacks.
Awakened Nanaka's attacks are:
-Salamander Spear (EX Burndown): Replacing Raging Nova is this move. It does slightly less damage and only one stun point, but it inflicts a burning status on the target, which does a large amount of damage over time, but for a short period. During that time though, it'll do approximately 2000 damage, which makes this quite useful on its own.
-Salamander Javelin (EX Dragoon): A 200% EX gauge skill that is an upgrade of Salamander Spear. It does even more damage and 2 stun damage, and the burning effect lasts MUCH longer, making this attack deal several thousand points of damage. A very good skill to use in this fight.
-Volking Melt Swarm (EX Explosion): It's EX Explosion and not EX Meltdown, for some reason, but this move is the same as regular Nanaka's charged move. The catch? It no longer requires charging to use in awakened mode. How awesome is that?
While you get a nice selection of strong teammates to use, Lillian isn't quite a pushover herself. She boasts four nasty attacks.
Lillian's attacks are:
-Desiccation Menace (EX Hunger): Yet another drain skill, like Ether Scavenger or Bloody Lick Touch. Does decent damage and actually recovers a lot.
-Gravity Press (EX Beauty): An AoE move that slows everyone affected and knocks them back by a certain amount. It's similar to Dokuro-chan's Wood Glue. Thankfully, this is purely a status effect/knockback move, as the damage is abysmal.
-Split Mirage (EX Alter): A 200% move that doubles the caster, allowing Lillian to attack twice, or even form Unisons with herself. When targeting the caster, only the copy that is closer to the act line can be attacked (except for multi-hitting moves like Kururu's Feline Stampede).
-Perfect Harmony (EX Chaos): I've tried getting her to use this move multiple times, and even used Iinchou's Necro Synthesizer to use it myself a few times. I still can't figure out what its properties are. It definitely deals damage, but I have no idea what else it does.
Once Lillian-sensei is defeated, she runs away again and the demo continues as it did before. Meaning, no proper Illear/Lullshare debut again. Dammit. ;_;
Aside from the above character additions, some new changes in this version involve balancing tweaks on character stats and attacks, including:
-The Princess Witches cast overall move a tad slower than they used to. Kinda makes up for how broken they were before.
-Shin's Fatality Force: Back to costing 100% EX gauge again, but in this trial, Paakii is usually the only one to attack.
-Lolotte's Absolute Tears: Nerfed, Rumbles can now break it (but not pierce/cause damage) in one hit.
-Misa's attacks: Noblesse Laser and Dimensional Wave on average do less hits (in my case, almost always the minimum 2-3 hits). Blastic Cyclone is still unpredictable as hell.
-Masaki's Ryuuga Souretsuzen: Buffed, now does more damage (if used via Necro Synthesizer, actually does a LOT of damage). Masaki's attack power in general is still pretty low, but isn't quite as pitiful now.
-Kururu's Royal Execution: Also buffed and does more damage (I'm assuming the shield-breaking property that it was supposed to have, but was absent in the previous trial, is fixed now). Considering that it's still a 200% move, this isn't a bad change.
-Iinchou/Hamuchuu-Iinchou's Symphonic Haken: Got a much-needed nerf. It no longer hits as much nor deals as much damage, but it's still a decent move.
That's all for now. Less than a month left until release... Get hyped for it.

1 dislike!? *presses like* Anyways, pretty cool to watch (that looks like a lot of points o_o) even though I have no idea what's going on! :)

@CoOlHaWkZ Dunno who disliked this within minutes of me posting it, but whatever lol.
All I have to say is, this player is a lucky bastard. Even if he lucked out on having a good party, to form two level 21 Unisons and get some pretty lucky Rumbles is pretty hax. Not lucky enough to get a GOD rank, but still pretty damn lucky.
