This is fantastically done. By far the best thing, and you deserve special mention if not the top prize, for acknowledging the clip's shortcomings and creatively working around it. If that's not rewarded the by god the whole contest is unamerican.

So you're saying Stephen Colbert is a "deush" bag? He literally did this interview as a joke so editors could play around with it to make him look stupid. Colbert Nation hosted a contest to see who could do the best job at this. Colbert Nation probably asked Stephen to do a segment like so they could run this contest. If you don't believe anyone, I'm sure you can still see this episode somewhere on Comedy Central's website, or probably even on the contest page at Colbert Nation.
