Southern California Earthquake Center

The Southern California Earthquake Center (SCEC) is an international research collaborative headquartered at the USC College of Letters, Arts & Sciences.

To understand earthquakes and their effects, SCEC coordinates a research program funded by the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Geological Survey. SCEC involves more than 500 academic and government researchers working at more than 50 institutions worldwide. Tom Jordan, University Professor and holder of the William M. Keck Foundation Chair in Geological Sciences in USC College, serves as SCEC's director.

Natural disasters are no longer un-known to man. All the tools to locate a disaster & measuring its intensity have been invented. Man has explored the space to its extremes discovering black holes as no time zones. New theories of earthquakes have come into being. Nuclear technology has entered a new phase. But man is as wild as he was. The war of human supremacy is going on destroying the globe altogether.

Stop building in out dated Concrete and you might solve some of the problems. Composite metal overlay is the the futur. Examples of Composite metal over lays is everywhere. Take your computer all the circuit cards are done in a composite metal overlay. Ok now take that idea coat a entire surface area of a carbone fiber/kevlar what ever and then over lay it with thin coat of copper like a circuit card. Now take to chrome shop and have it chrome plated. Floating on top of surface.
