I am gradually sorting through some of my ancient video tapes to log what is on them, and capturing some vintage clips whilst I do so.
Here is the first advert break shown during a repeat of 'The A-Team's second season episode 'There's Always A Catch' (1983), broadcast February 8th 1986 at 17:35 (some regions took it at 18:05), in the London Weekend Television / Thames region.
Adverts include:
* The UK cinema release of 'Teen Wolf' (starring Michael J. Fox, 1985)
* Heinz Baked Beans, part of a series starring a young boy and his brother in various scenarios
* Rice Krispies ("Snap Crackle Pop")
* Michellin
* Food from (the long defuct) Wendy's
* Mu-Cron sinus tablets (it is muffled as it is here on the original recording)
* Chas and Dave singing a Courage Best ad (a short variation of a longer version, if I remember correctly)
I've also uploaded the second advertisment break from the same recording.
I am still going through all of my old tapes and uploading various clips, so check back regularly!
Anyone know where I cam find higher quality versions of these?

Mu-Cron - probably the yuckiest name for a pharmaceutical drug I've ever seen. XD

I think that because it was also rated PG here, they didn't want to waste money editing it. Bear in mind that for cinema publicity, you can use any typeface for the ratings (for videos, the symbols are used)

The Teen Wolf trailer is American, it even has the mpaa pg rating not the uk bbfc one. Very interesting that they left that on a uk advert.

Is that 'Mike from the Nags Head' playing his dad?
