a preffeder would not make sense with a lot of changeovers. If your an independent company running a lot of various sizes and set-ups, and not a larger integrated with long runs of the same job and size, why would robots or prefeeders make any sense? Just because you were able to afford a new machine doesn't mean you can always afford some other high-end fancy attachtments that would be a luxury and not a necessity.

Not bad for a 1 color box with a BMC, I run a Martin rapidset 1228 7 color, actually 6 plus 1 for UV with lamps & IR dryers. We print mostly on KEMI hi holdout paper but we have problems at high speeds w/scratches coming from the folding rods. Our max speed for a 6 color & UV is around 10700 per hr. Sure do miss 1 to 2 color boxes that you can run balls out!!!!!

i work with one 618 but have 4 colors and older counter.. new top counter works good with little boxes?
