PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON IN HYDE PARK CHICAGO

On June 2nd, President Bill Clinton came to Rainbow PUSH headquarters in Hyde Park Chicago for a convention with several politicians and Rev. Jesse Jackson. Earlier that morning and afternoon, we'd attended a talk forum, met several Members of Congress, and partook in a well-catered lunch with dignitaries including Mrs. Jacqueline Jackson. I had opted not to return for the afternoon session, but decided again to stick-around to grab some b-roll footage and what I could record for my archives.

Self-made security attempted to hustle us across the street, then down the half block, then somewhere else... while Chicago Police located us a half block away from where the Secret Service caravan would arrive, along with FOX News, CBS, other media venues, and a small crowd of onlookers. Among other media, my son and I were standing at just the right spot when the President approached us. The video tells the rest of the tale of this memorable day...
