(Part 12 of 12) - The Yellowstone Super Volcano is the volcano that could wipe out the USA as we know it. This is a documentary about the Super Volcano at Yellowstone National Park. The sleeping giant measures 34 miles (55 km) by 45 miles (72 km) across. Recent swelling of the ground at YellowStone has risen to 10 inches as of January 2010 and has sparked much interest in this Supervolcano. The volcano is expected to erupt every 600,000 years, and we are currently overdue for eruption at 640,000 years. It is said that this volcano could bring mankind to it's knees in a matter of 5 days. This movie/documentary gives great insight into what could happen.

I want to know how a main stream media news reporter(Jill) is perpetrating fear mongering? Goes to show how government and corporate media own all the resources and best pictures. Fund raise for charity,promote gambling, report on the news, and for a side kick report on assumed story line that is made to look like a documentary. Very misleading.

@TheRobation I agree, but I live in Northeast Texas, and even here in the event of this super volcano, we would be affected by the ash, there are little things that can be done to greatly improve your chances of survival, be prepared to move at the very least. I believe that Global Warming is BS, but even if it is true that is the least of your worries, gradual change is a kitten compared to the lion of sudden change.

Listen, anyone out there, this WILL happen. It's truly random as to when it will though. So, yes, it might happen in our lifetime. But until this happens, remain close to your family and friends and what little you have; make your wrongs right. Because Yellowstone, possibly is gearing up for this right now... and you don't want to have regrets when you die.
