Why are Pennsylvania dogs out on the coldest night of the year? Because they can be, the law does not protect them. But now, Pennsylvania's citizens have the power to put a stop to this cruelty by insisting our legislators pass HB1254, legislation to limit the tethering of dogs.

We need all Pennsylvania citizens to take this one simple step: Go to http://www.unchainpadogs.com and join our coalition. The more of us who join the coalition, the more the legislators realize WE WILL NOT BE STOPPED IN OUR QUEST FOR help for Pennsylvania's chained dogs!

Contact your legislators and ask them where they stand. Do not vote for ANY legislator who isn't behind HB1254! To find out who the House Rep for your community is, visit this page: http://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/legis/home/member_information/email_list....

For more information, visit http://www.unchainpadogs.com or http://www.dogsdeservebetter.org to donate to support our efforts to unchain Pennsylvania's dogs.

  • I have mixed emotions everytime I see you have uploaded a new video Tammy. I am so eager, yet sad to open them.

Bless you for being the voice of these innocent babies.

Happy New Year, let's make it a better one.

  • @pope1982 I know, sorry about that! But it has to be done, to change this horrible treatment...

  • fm, yeah, I"m from Virginia and it gets damned cold there in the winter.... I can't imagine anyone there being stupid and cold-hearted enough to keep their dog outside in the winter. Penn. is further north and anyone there who does that is a fucking asshole, period.

  • We can't think of a crueler punishment for these social pack animals who want—and deserve—companionship, scratches behind the ears, walks around the block, and the opportunity to curl up at their guardians' feet at night indoors.

  • I have a dog that has to stay out side, hes too be to keep in our small house but he has a resonably sized pen and big warm dog house with a heat lamp in the winter, but canada winter be crazy so when it is too cold out he comes inside and gets lots of treats (:

  • America is a place where millions of non violent people are kept locked in cages, for being poor, or uneducated, and failing the struggle to survive in a 'dogeatdog' environment established by past slave owners; slave owners who have changed their methods but not their purpose. The constant abuse of animals as shown above is, in my mind, another example of the trickle down abuse principle. The master can abuse 'his own property' without regard for it - as it is just a 'thing' he or she owns.

  • look i lov dogs, and i believe in keeping them mainly indoors where it's safe and warm, but, I don't think any state should start assing laws telling you when to keep your dog inside yout house and can't have it on your property. infact, they CANT make a law like that.

  • Thank you so much, you are really good people, I hope you can get some of those dogs into a new home with families who love them.

  • I thought american r suppose 2 b animal lovers not untill now...u behave like a 3rd world mentality n a shame...

  • หมาจรจัดบ้านเรายังโชคดีกว่าหมามีเจ้าของแต่ถูกทิ้งไว้ข้างนอกแฮะ

  • people have no heart to leave their dogs out in freezing weather all animals need shelter and food from the weather all I can say is shame on these ass holes for leaving the dogs out in the freezing weather while they are all warm and cozy in their homes. I live in Northern Florida and they tell us to bring in our animals when it gets to cold out and even the ducks get hay to stay warm on cold nights.

  • Having seen a video from Bensalem whereas hunt club members are illegally shooting birds on their property, you seem to have a lot of backwards minded people living there. I dont understand these morons, you dont leave a dog outside in those temperatures, whats he or she guarding? DUH

  • As for what to do about these Abused Pets? Special Forces are Issued a Pistol with a Suppressor. There called Hush Puppies. They use them on Geese,Dogs,& the Occassional Guard to Silence Them! So maybe it's time for someone to just go around & Euthanize these Pets. I'm not Crazy about the idea, but it beats just leaving them to suffer. You can't Steal & then Care For Hundreds of Pets. Not without Millions of Dollars. I don't even consider it Stealing if You can take care of the one's You do take!
