Is it just me or is most modern techno not quite as good as this?

Absolutely fucking spot on. Modern techno, as a rule, is pretentious minimal schminimal bullshit. Sounds like someone slapping their wang against a drain pipe.

What an amazing tune - if you like the way this makes you feel you will *love* a new book just published in the UK about techno, free-parties, dancing and getting hammered: search for 'spannered books' for a preview. Check it out, you'll love it!

Went to LetsGoBackWayBack
808 State (proper Live), Slam, Justin Robertson just last week. It was proper barmy. Not a glowstick in sight. No white gloves. I did smell some Vicks but that's allowed....haha! Good noises all night and just a little bit of gurning and shimmying from maself. French Kiss was played and that was the highlight....or maybe 'In Yer Face' or maybe Pacific Symphony...ah who knows?

@Poachmeister you know it sir !

Quality posts on here - this is simply awesome techno from back in our day when everything was still original and fresh.....old skool all the way.

I never stopped playing stuff like this because most folk don't have a clue what they like. Ask most clubbers about their favourite tracks or look through their CD collections and it's all Ibiza CDs or Ministry pish. Not a bloody clue. That's what DJs are for and by the way, we don't do requests or play that tune you heard in Loret. We've got 100 records to play and you're going to bloody like it or you can leave. If they don't, ask them how many tunes they knew.
It'll be 2 I'm telling you.
