@Leona10037 Truly an amazing piece of literature. Nabokov is brilliant. I do agree how everyone keeps calling Lolita a slut. It isn't her fault. That is all she knows. Humbert is all she ever had after he took away her mother. It's quite sad.

This scene was so fabulous. It's truly awful how Nabokov's novel brings me pain. What an amazing author. This movie cannot possibly capture all the magic of Nabokov's written words. I sometimes find myself feeling sorry for Humbert, when I know I shouldn't--but Jeremy Irons is so captivating.
