@HEMPERCOLLECTIVE no kidding, and Theo Parrish complains all the time about digital djing and the superiority of vinyl. I say that sob needs to put his money where his mouth is and press up more copies. I'm sure he is just biding his time to guarantee ridiculous sales whenever he decides to to a re-press. But still this originally came out on vinyl ONLY, and a CD version was released later.

@scientrophic While you are certainly right, there is no reason why a dj can't warm up with any of theo parrish's records and work into more commercial or stuff to rock parties with.

very cool

i disagree its up to the djs to have the balls...let ther be 10 min of akwardness the crowd in many cases will respect u staying true to the music you want..maybe if u do a really commercial club thats totally diff but if ur doing a local party or any venue that may have somewhat a diverse crowd its your duty to take the risk..fuck it

@djalternegro I think the issue is that many listeners don't have a taste for this shade of house music when they go out. DJ's, both local and major ones, can resist it, but ultimately, they need to play what people want to hear to keep them spending at the bar, or else the club/lounge/bar evicts them and they don't have a residency, or they don't get gigs, and don't have a job in some cases. It's a terrible two-way street of cultural destitution.
