Me playing keyboard - Hymne by Vangelis

Me playing my Yamaha DGX-200 keyboard, recorded on Cakewalk USB Music Creator 3. Hymne by Vangelis.

This, in my opinion, is not one of my better times at the keyboard, but I thought I'd post it anyway. I guess I just like the song. This is just me playing, by the way, without mixing tracks or anything. Vangelis is probably known more for his theme for the movie Chariots of Fire. From my end, I played this for my high school graduation.

Perhaps after the first of the new year I can re-record it and send you the MIDI file so that the music is legible. Usually when I record something to create sheets, I focus strictly on getting the sheet music to look right, and not the audio, so it may not sound 100% when you play it back. Hit me up again about mid-January, and remind me!

was this really done with the dgx 200? im looking into getting one and it sounds very good.

did you use any effects other than what was on the piano?

Yes, I did this with my DGX-200. I may have added a reverb through my recording software, but similar effects are available on the keyboard itself.
